La Campaña Presidencial yá empezó, a lo mejor me di cuenta tarde.
Pero no por mucho madrugar amanece más temprano (díganle éso a AMLO y también a Margarita). Todo tiene su tiempo, su silencio y su accionar. Mi opinión  es que el PAN es la mejor opción, entre  más PRIcorrupción o Populismosocialistoide, me quedo con el centro "La virtud está enmedio dijo San Agustín, (y si no dijo él pues lo diré yó).
Mi "gallo" es Ricardo Anaya (richiricón), el "JovenMaravilla, que me parece el más sensato, inteligente y prudente(a pesar de su corta edad).

Former CIA Director John Brennan told the House Intelligence Committee Tuesday that Russia "brazenly interfered in the 2016 election process," despite U.S. efforts to warn it off. Brennan testified in an open session of the committee, one of a handful of congressional committees now investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Brennan said he told his Russian counterpart, the head of Russia's FSB, last August that if Russia pursued its efforts to interfere, "it would destroy any near-term prospect for improvement in relations" between the two countries. He said Russia denied any attempts to interfere.

In his opening statement, Brennan also recounted how he had briefed congressional leaders in August of last year, including House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wisc., Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and the chairs and ranking members of the House and Senate Intelligence Committees about the "full details" of what he knew of Russia's interference in the 2016 election. Brennan said he became convinced last summer that Russia was trying to interfere in the campaign, saying "they were very aggressive."

Brennan said he is "aware of information and intelligence that revealed contacts and interactions between Russian officials and U.S. persons involved in the Trump campaign." Brennan said that concerned him, "because of known Russian efforts to suborn such individuals," and that it raised questions about whether or not the Russians "were able to gain the cooperation of those individuals." Brennan added he didn't know if "collusion existed" between the Russians and those he identified as involved in the Trump campaign.

hile Brennan would not specifically identify any individuals associated with the Trump campaign who had contacts with Russian officials and would not opine as to whether there was any collusion or collaboration, he did tell lawmakers why he was concerned about the contacts occurring against the general background of Russian efforts to meddle in the election. Brennan said he's studied Russian intelligence activities over the years, and how Russian intelligence services have been able to get people to betray their country. "Frequently, individuals on a treasonous path do not even realize they're on that path until it gets to be too late," he said.

rennan said Russia was motivated to back Donald Trump in the presidential election because of a "traditional animus" between Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Russian President Vladimir Putin. He told committee members there had not been a good relationship between Putin and the Clintons over the years. What's more, Brennan said Putin blamed Hillary Clinton's actions as secretary of state during the Obama administration for domestic disturbances inside Russia. He said Putin was concerned Clinton would be more "rigid" on issues such as human rights if elected president.

Trump Says He Has 'Absolute Right' To Share Intelligence With Russia

n another question, Brennan criticized President Trump's reported sharing of classified intelligence with Russia officials. Brennan said if reports were accurate, Trump violated "protocols" by sharing the information with Russia's foreign minister and ambassador to the U.S.

Brennan also said he was "very concerned" by the release of what he said appears to be classified information from the Trump administration. He said there appear to be "very, very damaging leaks, and I find them appalling and they need to be tracked down."

Reacting to Brennan's testimony, a White House spokesman said "This morning's hearings back up what we've been saying all along: that despite a year of investigation, there is still no evidence of any Russia-Trump campaign collusion, that the President never jeopardized intelligence sources or sharing, and that even Obama's CIA Director believes the leaks of classified information are 'appalling' and the culprits must be 'tracked down.'"

Under questioning from Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Fla., Brennan said the Russians have been trying to disrupt Western elections since the 1960s, and that they've quickly adapted to the times. Brennan pointed to the ease with which Russia was able to hack Democratic operatives' emails, which were then published on WikiLeaks.

"The cyber-environment now really provides so much more opportunity for troublemaking and the Russians take advantage of it," he said. Brennan said the use of spear phishing, and "whatever else so that they can then gain access to people's emails, computer systems networks," is something that the Russians are adept at.

He said Russia used WikiLeaks as a "cut-out," or go-between, and that protests by WikiLeaks that it is not working with Russia and Russia's claims it is not working with WikiLeaks are "disingenuous."

CANCER Y ENVEJECIMIENTO

El envejecimiento resulta de mutaciones no cancerígenas, generadoras de programas de muerte celular, recordemos que la muerte celular puede ser por: Necrosis, cuando no pueden tolerar un ambiente químico o físico adverso; quemaduras, hipoxia, pH intolerable, ausencia de nutrientes específicos (glucosa), agentes tóxicos, exceso de desechos (urea, bilirrubina), radicales libres, es decir moléculas inestables con una o varias valencias abiertas, variación oncosmótica de moléculas que aún siendo necesarias están en desequilibrio, agentes destructores de la membrana celular o de su equilibrio físico-químico. La muerte celular también acontece mediante Apoptosis, cuando se llega al límite programado de su replicación celular, es decir el número de mitosis que la células tienen programadas en sus cromosomas. Los tejidos envejecen a tasas diferentes por razones genéticas y ambientales y así vemos enfermedades degenerativas en órganos diana, con otros órganos funcionando eficazmente.

No Así en los procesos cancerígenos, la oncogénesis es decir la “malignización” o cancerización de un tejido, es una respuesta celular para evitar la muerte, las células, por razones no claras cambian su ARN mensajero o la posición de sus genes y se replican constantemente (mitosis incesante) y dejan de ejercer las funciones que tienen programadas. P.Ej; células hepáticas que dejan de funcionar como tales y se reproducen desordenadamente Vg; (Hepatoma-cáncer hepático).

La muerte de un organismo no es más que la suma de las muertes celulares en los distintos órganos. Morimos, envejecemos, por partes separadas. Sin embargo existen órganos indispensables para sostener el equilibrio (homeostasis) de los demás y así vemos que si el corazón o los pulmones disfuncionan, afectan gravemente a los demás órganos y estos dejan de hacerlo y mueren “en perfecto estado de salud”.

En el proceso canceroso morimos debido a la que algunas células se rehúsan a morir, invaden otros órganos y nos destruyen. Sin embargo; la mortalidad de nuestras células, puede o nó estar relacionada a los procesos cancerosos.

Las mutaciones genéticas que rara vez ocurren antes de los 50 años, son cada vez más frecuentes después de los 50 años porque son reparadas menos eficientemente. La presencia de procesos cancerígenos en niños pequeños o aún desde la embriogénesis, puede explicarse mediante mutaciones genéticas tempranas o genes anormales heredados cromosómicamente.

De tal modo, es que puede afirmarse, a la luz de lo que se conoce hoydía que el Cáncer es una enfermedad que tiene comosubstrato un origen genético, pero que tiene también varios componentes; nutricional, ambiental, infeccioso, inmunológico, conductual y psicogénico en su génesis. En la actualidad se conocen muchos agentes cancerígenos y probablemente se irán identificando muchos otros más.

CÁNCER EL ENEMIGO INMORTAL

Los diferentes tipos de cáncer, no están estrechamente relacionados a una sola anormalidad genética, presente en todos los casos similares, como se pensaba ingenuamente hasta la década de los 90´s. Actualmente sabemos que las alteraciones genéticas difieren ampliamente de un caso a otro, con el mismo tipo de cáncer y aún en diferentes sitios dentro del mismo tumor (NEJM 2012, 366, 883) y pueden multiplicarse y aparecer más alteraciones genéticas a lo largo del tiempo. Tampoco es una sola vía metabólica alterada, sino una red de vías alteradas. La complejidad del cáncer está en su diversidad. Su tratamiento ideal, no consiste necesariamente en matar a las células malignas, sino en re-diferenciarlas y reprogramarlas para morir.

Los cánceres y su inmortalidad son de origen genético. Aproximadamente sólo el 5% de los cánceres son hereditarios, relacionados a anormalidades genéticas de células germinales (ovocitos y espermatozoides) transmitidos de generación en generación y presentes en todas las células. El 95% restante son adquiridos y afectan exclusivamente a las células de un órgano determinado.

Estas alteraciones no germinales son llamadas alteraciones somáticas y no son transmisibles hereditariamente. Los cánceres somáticos pueden ser de 6 tipos:

1) Mutaciones: Significa que han sido reemplazadas o cambiadas una de las 4 bases nitrogenadas de nuestro ADN, cambiando el código genético (mutaciones puntuales), cambios que pueden pasar inadvertidos, sin consecuencias evidentes (mutaciones neutras) o pueden inactivar un gen (mutaciones con pérdidas de funciones), o activarla (mutaciones con ganancia de función);

2) ganancia o pérdida de un microsegmento de genes (inserciones o depleciones);

3) multiplicación de un número de copias de un mismo gen (amplificación);

4) reacomodo de genes: un fragmento de un gen se desplaza y se liga a un fragmento de otro gen situado lejos, dentro del mismo o de otro cromosoma, creando un neogen potencialmente peligroso (translocación), como sucede en la leucemia mieloide crónica en el cromosoma Philadelphia;

5) Alteraciones epigenéticas: algunos genes son modificados por adición de radicales químicos simples (metilos o acetilos) sobre fragmentos de ARN reguladores de algunos genes capaces de cambiar el mensaje genético por las modificaciones de ARN mensajeros por las enzimas, o por otros mini-ARN reguladores;

6) Aneuploidia, la más importante de la lista, significa que hay un número anormal de cromosomas ligados a errores en una redistribución asimétrica de cromosomas en la división celular.

Las anormalidades genéticas son más frecuentes conforme avanza la vida. Los distintos tipos de cáncer son más frecuentes con la edad, como si dos factores fueran determinantes: Los tóxicos como el tabaco, radiación, células cancerígenas, entre otras, se van acumulando y se adhieren al ADN y al parecer, nuestros sistemas moleculares de reparación de las mutaciones de ADN se hacen menos eficientes y son sobrepasadas en particular por un metabolismo energético intenso dando origen a los radicales libres. Un radical libre es una molécula inestable que perdió uno o dos electrones periféricos. El número final de las anormalidades resultan de un desequilibrio entre las mutaciones y reparaciones.

Las mutaciones aumentan con la edad debido a que los sistemas de reparación son menos eficientes.

Los tumores tienen de 1,000 a 100,000 mutaciones de nuestros 20,000 genes, pero sólo aproximadamente 400 son hasta la fecha, identificadas como disparadoras o generadoras de los cánceres humanos, pero la lista crece cada año. En algunas regiones del tumor se pueden encontrar unas y en otra región otras distintas. Esta diversidad intratumoral dificulta el tratamiento para el control de las neoplasias malignas y poder establecer una medicina personalizada.

A ésta complejidad se le agrega la diversidad de genes mutados. Algunos pueden ser genes domésticos que tienen una influencia limitada, al controlar solamente una proteína; sin embargo, algunos genes mutados pueden ser genes maestros (mastergenes), que controlan la función y así como la integridad de hasta otros 200 genes, y por consecuencia, de sus funciones y la síntesis de proteínas enteras, favoreciendo también la mutación de otros genes domésticos.

Por fortuna, algunos tumores sólo tienen una o dos anormalidades, específicamente los tumores en población pediátrica (linfomas, leucemias, sarcomas), particularmente translocaciones y mutaciones puntuales específicas, por lo que teóricamente es más sencillo diseñar terapias efectivas.

Algunos autores se refieren a este tipo de cánceres como “cánceres estúpidos” y el término “cáncer inteligente” se refiere a los tumores que tienen múltiples anormalidades genéticas y que frecuentemente se transforman, como el cáncer de pulmón. Hasta el momento, se han secuenciado totalmente más de 2,000 tumores (cancer profiling o retrato genético), lo que puede hacer posible diseñar tratamientos más eficaces, verdaderas balas mágicas que controlen el crecimiento y proliferación de células tumorales.malignas.

REVELACIONES

Lo que sigue es un fragmento de la información pertinente a la multicitada reunión de Donald Trump el pasado 10 de mayo con el Canciller Serguéi Lavrov de de la Federación Rusa y el Embajador en Washington Serguéi Kislyak. En dicha reunión no se permitió acceso a los medios estadounidenses y sólo fotógrafos y reporteros rusos atendieron(??). Esto forma parte de una extensa red de conversaciones entre el Presidente Vladimir Putin y Donald Trump, el motivo enunciado fué la guerra civil en Siria y la crisis humanitaria resultante. De dicha reunión existen sospechas de revelación de material clasificado de Trump a los funcionarios rusos, particularmente en relación con los servicios de inteligencia israelí:

Trump also reportedly boasted to the Russians about the intelligence he was receiving, telling the two men, "I get great intel. I have people brief me on great intel every day":

"Trump went on to discuss aspects of the threat that the United States learned only through the espionage capabilities of a key partner. He did not reveal the specific intelligence-gathering method, but he described how the Islamic State was pursuing elements of a specific plot and how much harm such an attack could cause under varying circumstances. Most alarmingly, officials said, Trump revealed the city in the Islamic State's territory where the U.S. intelligence partner detected the threat.

"The Washington Post is withholding most plot details, including the name of the city, at the urging of officials who warned that revealing them would jeopardize important intelligence capabilities."

Greg Miller, one of The Post reporters who broke the story, told NPR's Ari Shapiro on All Things Considered that by sharing the information from another country, it could damage future intelligence gathering and U.S. relations with other partners.

"This is not intelligence that the United States gathered or owned. It wasn't up to the United States to share, and so doing so really jeopardizes that relationship. It potentially damages trust that's critical in these kinds of arrangements. And I think that's one of the really big worries here," Miller told NPR. "And in this case it's important, because this is apparently an ongoing stream of intelligence into Islamic State plotting. I mean, what could be more important?"

BuzzFeed also confirmed The Post's report, with one U.S. official saying that the disclosures from the president to the Russians were "far worse than what has already been reported."

The New York Times also noted that "Trump's disclosure does not appear to have been illegal — the president has the power to declassify almost anything. But sharing the information without the express permission of the ally who provided it represented a major breach of espionage etiquette and could jeopardize a crucial intelligence-sharing relationship."

Trump's meeting with the Russians came last Wednesday, the day after he fired FBI Director Jim Comey, who was overseeing an investigation into Russian meddling in the U.S. elections and possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.

The visit was fraught with bad optics, and Kislyak's attendance — only confirmed by photos from Russian state media — was especially notable because he has been at the center of many of the Trump administration's controversies involving Russia. Only TASS, Russia's official news agency, was allowed in to photograph the meeting; no U.S. media was allowed.

Trump's first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, was forced to resign after just over three weeks on the job after it was revealed he had discussed Russian sanctions with Kislyak and then subsequently misled Vice President Pence about those conversations. And Attorney General Jeff Sessions was forced to recuse himself from any involvement in the FBI's investigations into Russia after it was revealed that he twice met with Kislyak despite testifying during his confirmation hearing that he had had no contact with Russian officials.

The latest reports of Trump revealing classified information to the Russians comes just ahead of his first foreign trip as president. He's set to depart on Friday, traveling to Saudi Arabia, Israel, the Vatican,

POTUS departs for his first international trip: Saudi Arabia, Israel, the Vatican, and will attend a NATO meeting in Brussels, Belgium, and the G7 meeting in Italy.

National security adviser H.R. McMaster told reporters outside the White House that the "story that came out tonight, as reported, is false."

"At no time were intelligence sources or methods discussed, and the president did not disclose any military operations that were not already publicly known," McMaster said. However, The Post story and other subsequent reports didn't say that it was sources, methods or military operations discussed, but simply classified information.

"I was in the room, and it didn't happen," McMaster said at the end of his abrupt statement. He departed without taking questions.

"During President Trump's meeting with Foreign Minister Lavrov, a broad range of subjects were discussed among which were common efforts and threats regarding counter-terrorism," Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said in a statement. "During that exchange the nature of specific threats were discussed, but they did not discuss sources, methods or military operations."

Senate Intelligence Committee Vice Chairman Mark Warner, D-Va., said that if The Post's report was true, it was "inexcusable."

EL ROSTIZAMIENTO

Mesmerizados por el inusual y ominoso acontecer de la política norteamericana, observamos con la fascinación de un pollo que contempla los preparativos para su rostizamiento; la corretiza, el desplume, el sacrificio y el calorcito. Dirán que exagero, que no es para tanto, que sobreviviremos, que de peores tepacherías nos han corrido, pero, otra cosa pensáramos si fuésemos “ilegal aliens” por allá, como tantos “valientesmex”(pendmex?), que cruzaron la frontera y fincaron su futuro allá pensando que a lo mejor se olvidaban de su hazaña. Muchos dirán que se se fueron porque no tenían otra opción, que se fueron porque aquí no había oportunidades de desarrollo, y puede que algunos (los menos) se fueron porque los malosos cartelistas los tenían amenazados de muerte, a lo mejor algunos que tenían algo que temer, venganzas u otras linduras por el estilo, no lo dudo, pero lejos eso de los motivos de los pobres centroamericanos y más de los refugiados sirios.

La verdad es que los más se fueron lo hicieron por una sóla razón; el omnipresente y supervalorado dólar, claro que todos queremos ganar mas dinero, automóvil, vivir mejor, pero yo opino que aquí, claro no estamos en jauja pero el que trabaja, estudia, se esfuerza y le pone ganas, siempre sale adelante

En fin, todo ésto pasará y será ejemplo para las futuras generaciones, ahora nos toca “bailar con la más fea” (y se llama doña Trompeta).

Lo “mesmerizado” del asunto, no viene de tales elucubraciones, sino del de divertido brete en que su ínclito POTUS (SPGTP)“Supergüerotodopoderoso”) que los pobres gringos tienen como su “Commander in Chief”. Y así parece amigos, porque el mencionado SPGTP se ha convertido en el hazmerreir de todos los que siguen sus divertidos twits, declaraciones y escasas entrevistas (sólo a unos pocos medios porque los demás son “Fake News”), excepción sea dicha de FoxyNews.

El asunto es mucho más serio de lo que pudiera parecer dada la importancia de su posición y la relevancia de sus acciones, y se nos puede congelar la sangre en las venas si el aforemencionado individuo utiliza su sagacidad con el “BALÓN” (los códigos nucleares) que tiene siempre a su disposición. Ya por lo pronto empleó una ráfaga de misiles Tomahawk, hacia un pequeño aeropuerto de Irak de donde se suponía habían salido aviones para bombardear con gas Sarin a los malosos del ISIS, y un superbombón (la mare de todas las bombas) para perjudicar unos escondites de Al Quaeda´s afganos, con lo que ganó popularidad entre los halcones de USA, pero el reporte de daños fué ignorado y nada se sabe de tales.

Como quiera que sea (noten que ya no pongo; que “haiga sido”), después de varios reveses en sus Executive Orders (decretos presidenciales), su pleito casado con los Medios (FakeNews), en los primeros “cien días” hay poco que mostrar, El Obamacare se resiste a ser deleteado y su reemplazo con el Trumpcare va a tener muchos problemas en el Senado. El TLCAN por lo pronto, vá a ser renegociado (punto bueno) y nó cancelado (perjudicaría enormemente a los tres países), Sin embargo a nuestros pobres paisanos los trae apanicados y los sheriffes de la Migra mostrando todo su poder y odio. (noó como creen, pero si no son racistas!). Esa guerra sí la vá ganando, El Muro se cierne ominoso, Trompeta es enemigo encarnizado de la “Enchilada Completa” (ya veremos más tarde), en mi opinión un nuevo acuerdo y nuevas reglas son necesarias.

Lo que sí parece ser de grandísima importancia es la puñalada trapera (no “trasera”) que POTUS le propinó a su otrohora admirado Director del FBI Jimmy Comey (un tipazo enorme que goza de mucho prestigio) y que imcidentalmente fué el causante de que la Opinión Pública Norteamericana se le volteara a Hillary Clinton pocos días antes de las elecciones del 8 de Noviembre (recuerdan?). El asunto es que las razones del despido de Comey huelen al gravísimo delito de “OBSTRUCCIÓN DE LA JUSTICIA”, o sea que no hay tales razones, el mismo Trump se ha hecho bolas y a trae a sus corifeos como chapulines en comal, tratando de explicar lo que dijo o quiso decir, y a los medios medio doblados de la risa ridiculizando su gestión, (ver “Spicey counterattacks”).

Y no es para menos amigos, el asunto es serio (si no fuera tan hilarante). Ese problemita de la Intervención Rusa en las elecciones de USA, es gravísimo y es muy probable que cuando se aclare un poco más el embrollo, eso le cueste a Mr Trompet nada menos que un sabroso IMPEACHMENT (“peaches an'cream”) ¡Y no se lo vá acabar!

De modo que el “Rostizamiento” podría ser de gallogiro gordo, y... pena ajena, el que le dá vueltas al rostizero es el mismo gallito.

AUNQUE MUCHAS PERSONAS PROBABLEMENTE NO LO CONSIDERAN ASÍ, HAY ALGUNAS INCLUSIVE QUE RECHAZAN LA IDEA DE LA MATERIA DICIENDO QUE TODO ES UN FENÓMENO ELECTROMAGNÉTICO E INTERCAMBIO DE ELECTRONES, ADUCIENDO QUE EL ESPACIO ENTRE LAS PARTÍCULAS ATÓMICAS ES INMENSAMENTE GRANDE Y PUEDE QUE TENGAN RAZÓN EN ÉSO. LOS COMBUSTIBLES PARA ESTE TIPO DE FUSIÓN, SON ATRACTIVOS COMO PARTE DE LAS FUTURAS EMPRESAS GENERADORAS DE ENERGÍA, PORQUE SON FÁCILMENTE DISPONIBLES Y ABUNDANTES (AGUA MARINA Y LITIO), SON TAMBIÉN SEGURAS, NO HAY RESIDUOS PELIGROSOS, NI RADIOACTIVIDAD, NI EMISIÓN DE GASES DE EFECTO “INVERNADERO”, EMITEN HELIUM. EN EL FUTURO, SÓLO UNOS POCOS GRAMOS DE DEUTERIO Y TRITIO, SERÁN NECESARIOS PARA MANTENER LA FUSIÓN NUCLEAR. LA EFICIENCIA DE DICHAS PLANTAS SERÍA ENORME, DE HECHO LA REACCIÓN DE FUSIÓN NUCLEAR ES CASI 4 MILLONES DE VECES MÁS ENERGÉTICA QUE LAS REACCIONES QUÍMICAS DE LOS COMBUSTIBLES FÓSILES; CARBÓN, GAS PETRÓLEO, Y VARIAS VECES MAYOR QUE LAS DE LAS ACTUALES EÓLICA, SOLAR, MAREAS Y GEOTÉRMICA. COMPARATIVAMENTE, MIENTRAS QUE UNA PLANTA DE 1,000 MW, ALIMENTADA CON CARBÓN MINERAL, REQUIERE 2.7 MILL TONELADAS POR AÑO, UNA DE FUSIÓN DE DEUTERIO/TRITIO, REQUERIRÍA APROX 250 Kg DE COMBUSTIBLE, (50%DE DEU, 50% TRI). ADICIONALMENTE LA FUSIÓN NO PRODUCE POLUCIÓN DE NINGÚN TIPO Y NO HAY POSIBILIDAD DE QUE LA REACCIÓN EN CADENA SE ESCAPE DE CONTROL, YA QUE SI SE ALTERA EL FUNCIONAMIENTO DE LA PLANTA, EL PLASMA SE ENFRÍA Y LA REACCIÓN SE DETIENE. ESTE TIPO DE PLANTAS DE FUSIÓN TENDRÍAN LA CAPACIDAD DE PRORCIONAR GRANDES CANTIDADES DE ENERGÍA, CON MÍNIMA CARGA DE RESIDUOS PARA LAS FUTURAS GENERACIONES. EN MI OPINIÓN, LO QUE TENDRÍA QUE SOLUCIONAR ESTE EXPERIMENTO, ES LA RELACIÓN COSTO/BENEFICIO, PARA LAS NACIONES MÁS POBRES Y MENOS DESARROLLADAS DEL PLANETA, ES DECIR ANÁLISIS ECONÓMICO DE LA GENERALIZACIÓN DE DICHAS EMPRESAS, COMPARATIVAMENTE CON OTRAS OPCIONES ENERGÉTICAS. ¿USTED QUE OPINA..., EL FUTURO YA NOS ALCANZÓ?
